LEGTPA Louis Pasteur is a professional and vocational institute specialized in water management and fish farming studies. It offers undergraduate courses in these fields focused on practical training.

The institute is fully equipped with professional tools, has a lot of long-lasting relationships with the professional business and runs many projects and experiments with universities. An experimental unit in recirculatory system is devoted to Aquaponics and tropical fishes (APIVA project) with the support of International centers and national partners. The institute also regularly hosts students and staff from abroad and is very involved in international cooperation.  It has been hosting Indian students from GB.Pant University since 2006. At last, about 50% of students go abroad during their scholarship and a special care is given to prepare their departure. The institute was awarded the European label for this pre-departure work and has been running the ERASMUS program since 2007.

LEGTPA Louis Pasteur has a professional teaching fish farm which produces more than 25 tons of rainbow trout and which runs experiments on aquaponics, tilapia, koi carp and tropical fishes. It also has on site a modern and professional fish processing unit. Students spend a lot of practical time in both units to increase their work exposure and experience. The farm also welcomes every year trainees from abroad for short or long term training (India, Slovakia, Finland, Spain…).
